Crops & Livestock

Our farm's focus is on growing the most nutritious produce possible, while working with the ecosystem to maintain and encourage natural diversity.

Crops

All of the crops we grow on the farm are certified organic by the USDA. We grow over a hundred varieties of vegetables, herbs and flowers. Our partnerships with western slope growers allow us to provide a wide variety of certified organic fruit throughout the season.

Livestock

At Cure Organic Farm we love our animals. They have names and personalities and are truly loved by our crew. We take our job as animal husbands very seriously and strive to provide our animals with the very best feed and living conditions possible.

Philosophy: We believe in holistic animal management which includes pasture raising our animals, and using rotational grazing to promote soil health, microbial life and healthy grass. All of our animals receive certified organic feed, and lots of organic vegetable leftovers to keep them happy and healthy. We only give animals antibiotics in the rare case that they are sick.

The farm is home to several honey bee hives, laying hens and ducks, heritage Berkshire and Mangalitsa pigs, and Rambouillet sheep that are raised for meat and wool. Additionally we purchase grassfed beef, raised by Homestead Natural Beef, and whole chickens raised by Eastern Plains Natural Foods Coop.
